Mission
The mission of the Adult Center for Transition (ACT) is to afford young adults with disabilities, the vocational, educational and social skills necessary to become independent and contributing members of society.

Additional Information
Social Work/Case Management
The program is staffed with an on-site social worker a case manager who:
- Promotes the general well-being of students
- Maintains ongoing relationships with students
- and their caregivers
- Facilitates social/emotional support groups
- and provides counseling
- Assists students and caregivers in utilizing appropriate community resources

Serves as a liaison to community agencies

Provides ongoing professional development to staff
Schedule
- Program runs concurrent with Rowan College of South Jersey calendar
- Program is available for 2 years (length of enrollment is based on personal growth and development)

Program hours are typically 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Mon. through Thurs.
- Enrichment programming is potentially offered at an additional cost
- Five-week optional summer enrichment program available
Tuition
- Tuition is based on semester and county of residence—call for current rates
- Financial assistance may be available through RCSJ Gloucester Foundation or Cumberland County Campus Educational Foundation for eligible candidates.
